  • Step 1: Cleaning the Glass

    We start by fully cleaning every window to remove any dust or debris that could get trapped underneath the film and show up as a bubble later on.

  • Step 2: Cutting Each Panel

    We cut each piece of film to the exact shape of your vehicle's windows using panel specific patterns.

  • Step 3: Applying the Film

    The film is applied using a squeegee technique built to push out air and moisture without stretching or creasing the material.

  • Step 4: Curing Time

    We walk you through the short curing window after installation, including how long to wait before rolling the windows down, so the film has time to fully set and bond to the glass.

Caring for Your Window Tint

Give the film a full 3 to 5 days to cure before rolling any tinted window down, since rolling too soon can shift film that has not fully bonded to the glass yet. Once cured, clean tinted windows with a soft microfiber cloth and an ammonia free glass cleaner, since ammonia based products can break down the film's adhesive and cause it to bubble or discolor over time. Avoid using sharp objects like ice scrapers directly on the inside of tinted glass, and if you ever notice lifting at the edges, bring the vehicle back in so we can take a look before it spreads.

New York enforces specific visible light transmission limits on front side windows, rear side windows, and the rear windshield, and those limits can vary depending on the type of vehicle and how many mirrors it has. Choosing a shade without checking those limits first can mean a fix it ticket down the road, so we review the rules for your specific vehicle before recommending a percentage.
